Yi has been fascinated by tall buildings and what keeps them standing since childhood. She enjoys studying floor plans and imagining what it would feel like to live in spaces long before they are built. Seeing ideas gradually take shape and become part of the built environment is what she finds most meaningful and fulfilling about her work. Yi approaches design with lucidity and intention and values the lasting impact thoughtful engineering can have on everyday life.
