Solving challenging problems is Dhamar’s passion, which explains why her master’s project at Cal Poly Pomona centered around soil-structure interaction and seismic retrofit projects. In addition to engineering knowhow, Dhamar gained real-world management skills during her time as a project manager for a luxury home developer. She greatly enjoys seeing structures and projects she has worked on come to life and knows that kindness makes problems a lot easier to overcome. When not designing efficient structures, Dhamar is usually found exploring coffee shops, visiting cities on her long bucket list, and doing hot yoga.
