San Francisco International Airport Long Term Parking Garage No. 2

San Francisco, CA

San Francisco International Airport’s (SFO) Long Term Parking Garage No. 2 (LTPG2) is a 6-story, 3,600 stall parking structure located northwest of the existing long term parking garage on what was Lot DD.  The design-build team utilized co-location at the airport to facilitate a seamless design approach. The 1.25 million square foot garage is actually composed of four seismically isolated structures and is designed to provide a transcendent impression that will meet the world-class expectations and functionality for both vehicular and pedestrian users. Features include an automated guidance system that directs drivers to the nearest open spot, roof-level photovoltaic arrays, and charging stations on each level with built-in infrastructure for additional stations in the future.
