Following a successful Student Fee Referendum, CSU Stanislaus is moving forward with a renovation and expansion of the existing University Union.  Phase I will consist of the renovation of the existing University Union space and Cafeteria Building and will include the demolition of a portion of the existing structure, construction of an approximately 47,500 square foot new building, and the renovation of approximately 24,000 square feet of existing building.  Phase II consists of the renovation of the existing University Bookstore to facilitate converting this 13,000 square foot building into event space.  The Bookstore will be moved into the expanded University Union, which, when completed, will also house conferencing/ballroom space, retail space, student lounge/study space, administrative offices, a restaurant, and a theater.
