The candidate should understand vertical and lateral load path, be able to execute design calculations, and possess a basic understanding of structural detailing. The candidate should also have a familiarity with a variety of structural analysis and design programs such as RAM, ETABS, Tedds and Revit.

  A B.S. in civil or structural engineering required, M.S. preferred. Coursework should include structural analysis, seismic design of lateral force resisting systems and design using various materials including steel, concrete, wood and masonry.

  Hourly Pay: $36.00-$48.00

The candidate should have experience with a range of analysis programs and be capable of executing analysis of components as well as full building systems and be capable of compiling a well detailed set of structural drawings.   Buehler is seeking talented engineering students who are passionate about structural engineering to join our team as summer interns.

  Our intern program has been specifically developed to provide a learning experience that encompasses design of various types of structures using various materials, working as part of a project team, specially curated education seminars, visiting construction sites and fun with your coworkers.
  
  Our ideal candidate should be a team-player with strong interpersonal skills, be able to manage their time well and have a desire to learn and experience the structural engineering profession. The candidate should typically be in their third year or later of a civil or structural engineering program at an accredited university.

  Hourly pay: $22-$32
