
Michael Parolini, SE
Principal
Michael is an experienced civil and structural engineer whose projects span all sectors, including education, military, municipal, commercial, residential, non-building structures, corrections and rehabilitation, and historical and institutional buildings. He has been a part-time lecturer at the Architectural Engineering department at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo since 2005, where he has also served on the Industry Advisory Council. He has presented and authored many technical papers, including Usage of Heavy Timber Braced Frames in High Seismic Risk Regions, Professional Licensure and Rain-Induced Roof Collapses. He is the current Chair of SEAOC's Licensure Committee and participates on NCSEA's committee at the national level. Michael lives in San Luis Obispo with his wife Kelsey and their champion Jack Russell Terriers, Bandit and Phoebe.
