UC Davis Health ACC Expansion/ Tschannen Eye Institute
Sacramento, CA
As the first phase of what is to be a major renovation of the existing Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) on the UC Davis Health campus, the Tschannen Eye Institute is envisioned to be a “place of medical miracles, where the vision impaired are given hope for sight restoration through advanced technology and caring physicians.” Abutted to the existing ACC, the new, 4-story addition features a rooftop terrace for faculty and physicians to enjoy between patient visits as well as cantilevered 3rd and 4th floors making for a dramatic north façade that draws people to the main entrance.
