Every day we commit to our clients, our people, and our projects - and now we have committed to SE2050!  Along with other structural engineers, Buehler is embarking on a journey to reduce and ultimately eliminate embodied carbon on our projects by 2050. The upward trend of carbon emissions and the corresponding impacts on the environment is concerning. We recognize that structural engineers play a pivotal role in guiding the team to employ products, methods, and designs that are structurally sound and help mitigate the adverse effects of global climate change.

Buehler has always been inspired to transcend the boundaries of traditional design and the SE2050 Commitment is no different. With support from our in-house Sustainable Design Committee, we will explore new standards and methods to bring our projects to life with environmental impacts at the forefront of our minds. Spread across five regional offices and alongside 94 individuals, we are ready to join the SE2050 movement!
