Michelle’s passion for engineering began at a young age “helping” her dad with bid take-offs and tagging along to the office and job sites. She has always loved buildings and how things go together.  Her appreciation for the architectural aspects of structural design grew while working for an architectural firm on her summer breaks from Cal Poly. Her thoroughness and attention to detail, along with her collaborative spirit and technical skills, are the backbone to her approach to engineering.  Along with her engineering skills, Michelle is also adept at technical writing and proofreading, as well as being pretty handy with power tools and a sewing machine.  Outside the office, she considers her biggest accomplishment to be raising her two daughters to be intelligent, independent, and caring young ladies.
