Visalia Emergency Communications Center

Visalia, CA

The City of Visalia took the concept of a countywide dispatch center and modified it to serve their needs with the Emergency Communications Center. The building is the centralized hub of all city communications including an emergency operations center, offices for Fire Administration and the Fire Marshall, a non-emergency communication center, traffic management center, and additional support spaces. The two-story facility includes a state of the art technology consisting of computer aided dispatch and record management systems, a secure data center, and uninterrupted power supply rooms. Designed as essential facility, the tow story structure consists of steel framing supported by perimeter concrete tilt-up walls over isolated spread foundations.
