UC San Francisco Mission Bay Hospital Plan Check

San Francisco, CA

The UC San Francisco Mission Bay Hospital in San Francisco’s developing Mission Bay District provides a vital catalyst for this revitalized and growing neighborhood. Buehler provided structural OSHPD plan checking services and worked collaboratively with the design team in a phased plan review to approve the 6-story, steel-framed primary structure and cladding for the OSHPD 1 hospital concurrently with the UC San Francisco Mission Bay Energy Center plan check. Consistent communication and coordination by our project team with over 250 architects, engineers and contractors allowed the project to maintain the overall schedule and open on time, the culmination of more than 10 years of planning, design and construction using an integrated team approach.

"In the opinion of Anshen + Allen/Stantec, Buehler exceeded all expectations in their ability to successfully lead and execute the Phase Plan Review process.
