UC Davis International Center

Davis, CA

The International Center is prominently located in a park-like setting on the UC Davis campus and houses the UC Davis Extension’s Center for International Education. As the central hub of services for the diverse group of university students, faculty, and staff from around the world, the building includes an orientation center, a resource center, classroom and conference spaces, and a community/multi-purpose room with access to an adjacent outdoor common gathering area. The steel post and beam structure is L shaped with a three story south wing, and two story east wing with a buckling restrained braced frame (BRBF) lateral system and meets the University’s needs of providing the best possible educational and cultural experience to its users.
