Owned and operated by Sonic Automotive, the new Mercedes-Benz auto dealership in McKinney, Texas reflects the new Mercedes-Benz image. The exterior is comprised of insulated precast concrete wall panels and glazing (curtain wall) walls. The roof structure is steel open web joists spanning to wide flange girders to maximize openness of the showroom floor. Two mezzanines are provided in the showroom; one with an elevator lift to allow for display vehicles near the curtain wall front of the showroom and another over the service and maintenance department to provide direct access to replacement parts.
